Leon's Fine Poultry & Oysters
Ari Kolender was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, and left for the west coast after graduating high school. After learning to cook in Southern California, he returned to the Lowcountry to work at The Ordinary. At the time of the interview, Kolender was the executive chef of Leon’s Fine Poultry and Oysters, and St. Alban in Charleston.
