All Farm Organics
Craig McClung is a retired nuclear engineer turned regenerative farmer and miller based in Louisa, Virginia. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Craig spent his career in civil engineering, specializing in safety upgrades for nuclear power plants. After retiring from Dominion Energy, he redirected his focus to sustainable agriculture and milling, combining his technical skills with a passion for working the land. Craig now manages All-Farm Organics, one of Louisa County’s first certified organic farms, where he grows popcorn, heirloom wheat, and other small grains using regenerative practices. He is deeply committed to soil health and sustainable farming techniques, incorporating cover cropping, crop rotation, and minimal tillage to enhance biodiversity and reduce environmental impact. In addition to farming, Craig works as a miller at Deep Roots Milling, a historic water-powered mill that processes grains for local bakers and markets. His dedication to preserving traditional milling methods and cultivating a local grain economy reflects his broader commitment to community and sustainability.
