Meghan Medford

Medford Roofing

Meghan Medford was born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1979. She attended St. Benedict High School, Rhodes College, and obtained a master’s degree at Christian Brothers University. In 2011, she began Medford Roofing. She and her husband have expanded their business to include an additional office in Nashville. Their business also serves clients in Arkansas and Tennessee.

In 2015, Medford noticed the encroaching gentrification that threatened small, locally owned businesses along Summer Avenue. She and other business owners worked together to form Summer Avenue Merchants Association. They work to provide a voice to the business owners, revitalize and beautify the area, reduce blight, and unify the neighborhood. Additionally, the association worked towards branding the area as an international district and destination location due to the area’s diversity. Meghan is currently the President of the Summer Avenue Merchants Association.
