Brunswick, Georgia’s The Farmer & The Larder restaurant serves a forward-facing menu while paying homage to an agricultural legacy that reaches back to the Reconstruction era. Rose Reid reports the story of self-described “CheFarmer” Matthew Raiford’s family connection to the land, and how he and his partner, Jovan Sage, navigate a dual venture on the Georgia coast.
