Majid Amoorpour
Majid Amoorpour was born in Iran. He left with his family, to escape the Iraq-Iran Wars in 1980, moving to Sweden where he was introduced to a whole new world of tastes. After a formal culinary apprenticeship, Mr. Amoorpour moved to Oklahoma City before arriving in Charlotte. As the former head chef at Bistro La Bon, he introduced Charlotte to a menu, and a taste, that reflects his cosmopolitan upbringing.
