Pop Up Oxford Cocktail Party

Did you know that before bourbon, rum was the South’s favorite spirit? Come learn about the fascinating history of rum, its distillation process, and its role in drinks both classic and contemporary. You’ll sample a Snackbar cocktail that features rum in a starring role and taste-test a selection of styles. Snacks, made from recipes in The Southern Foodways Alliance Guide to Cocktails, will be offered as light hors d’oeuvres.
Tickets to the event are $15 and are available for advance purchase by clicking here. Tickets may also be acquired at the door for the price of $20, payable by cash or check (no credit cards accepted). Books will be available for separate purchase at the event.
