SFA Film Premiere at Atlanta History Center
On December 9 at 7 p.m., the Southern Foodways Alliance premieres HOMEPLACE, a film about White Oak Pastures, at the Atlanta History Center.
Celebrating farmer Jenni Harris, this Joe York film about the next generation in Bluffton, Georgia, follows up his 2009 film about her father, Will Harris.
After the screening of both short films, the Harris Family will participate in a panel discussion with SFA director John T Edge.
And Eddie Hernandez of Taqueria del Sol will serve good beef.
Tickets are $20 for not-yet Atlanta History Center members, $15 for members, and include small bites and local beverages.
