Brainstorm with the SFA
Coming to a Zoom Room Near You
Wednesday, December 9 from Noon–1 p.m. central
Thursday, December 17 from 5:30–6:30 p.m. central
Help imagine 2021 SFA Fall Symposium programming when we focus on ENVIRONMENTS. Exploring natural and built and imagined environments, we ask questions that connect climate change and deer hunting to lunch counter design and literary landscapes. Those questions begin in the South and stretch across world.
Typically, we book journalists who are ardent researchers, academics who speak well to popular audiences, and novelists and artists and musicians (and other creative folk) who compose smart narratives of the region.
SFA asks our members and audiences to join us with topics and speakers in mind. This kind of session works best when you suggest speakers you can vouch for and easily access.
Email Melissa Hall (melissa@southernfoodways.org) to let us know which session you plan to attend. We’ll send you a Zoom link the day of the meeting.
