Alexis presented her Bluegrass a Birria Oral History Project at the 2017 Southern Foodways Symposium. You can watch that presentation online here and view the full project, listen to the interviews and read about the subjects on SFA’s website.

Alexis is also a poet and artist. Her film, I Am Not a Label, is available online.

At the 2018 Summer Symposium, Alexis will present her oral history subjects at Saturday’s lunch. Learn more about the event and register here.
