To complement their Freedom Summer exhibit, the Mississippi Museum of Art in Jackson, Mississippi, will host a concert in the Art Garden Thursday, June 26, from 8:00—11:00 p.m. The showcase will feature freedom songs and popular music from 1964 by artists including Sam Cooke, The Supremes, Dionne Warwick, and others. Performers include Ben Payton, Josh Little, The Hustlers, Union Jackson, Hollis Watkins Gospel, and more.

The musical performance complements their current exhibits, This Light of Ours: Activist Photographers of the Civil Rights Movement and Norman Rockwell: Murder in Mississippi.
