Join renowned chefs from Memphis to New Orleans for the Hill Country Boucherie on August 21 at Home Place Pastures in Como, Mississippi. They will prepare a dinner centered on whole animal utilization, with proceeds benefiting SFA.
The event begins at 5 p.m. with cocktails, local beers and a chance to mingle with chefs on the front lines of the local food movement. The dinner begins at 7 p.m. and will feature a small plate from each chef highlighting a unique cut from Home Place Pastures pork, beef, and lamb. The main course will be a whole hog and lamb pit-smoked on site. Local produce farms will supply vegetables and a local music store will provide music and entertainment.
Tickets are $75 per person and include dinner with cocktails and beer of your choice. Home Place Pastures thanks Cathead Vodka, Tin Roof Brewing, Little Bluestem Florist, End Of All Music, Native Son Farms, and Yalobusha Brewery for making this event possible.
