Apply for SFA’s Oral History Workshop by Friday

Don’t miss your chance to attend SFA’s 2017 oral history workshop. Selected participants will travel to Atlanta, Georgia to study and document stories along Buford Highway¬†along with our collaborative partner, We Love BuHi.

The deadline to apply is Friday, March 24, 2017 by 5pm CST.

Open to undergraduate and graduate students, professors, educators, and SFA members, participants will learn SFA-devised methods and approaches to oral history, audio recording skills and techniques, an intro to digital photography, and hear guest lecturers from documentarians and community organizations documenting Atlanta foodways.
